Lulutto Lily Part 2 Cast, Songs, October Premiere
The second cour of 'Mahou no Shimai Lulutto Lily' adds two voice actors and reveals its theme songs ahead of its October 4 premiere.
The second part of the original television anime 'Mahou no Shimai Lulutto Lilly' will premiere on October 4. According to the anime's official website, the broadcast will begin at 10:30 p.m. On Tokyo MX before airing on ABC TV, TV Aichi, BS Nippon Television, and AT-X.
The site revealed an additional pair of cast members and the show's theme songs on Thursday. The information was reported by Comic Natalie.
New Cast Members
Voice actor Yuusuke Shirai is joining the cast as the character Mutchi. Shirai is known for his role in 'Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru'. He will be joined by Yuuko Natsuyoshi, who will voice Shiromofu. Natsuyoshi's previous work includes 'Hanazakari no Kimitachi e'.
Theme Song Artists
The opening theme song for the second cour will be "Swingin' Magic," performed by the South Korean girl group ILLIT. The group is also performing the opening for 'Himesama "Goumon" no Jikan desu 2nd Season'.
Performing the ending theme "Dream à la Mode" is the idol unit Lulutto Lily. This unit shares its name with the anime's title.
Production Staff
Shintarou Douge is returning to direct the anime at Studio Pierrot. Douge previously served as an assistant director on 'Arknights: Perish in Frost'. Series composition and script duties are handled by Yuuko Kakihara, known for 'Hataraku Saibou'.
Character designs are a collaborative effort. The designers are Hirono Nishiki, Mami Sodeyama, and Namiko Torii. Nishiki was an animation director on 'Shiunji-ke no Kodomotachi'. Sodeyama worked on 'Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai'. Torii was an animation director for 'Totsukuni no Shoujo (2022)'. Music for the series is composed by ha-j.
Studio Pierrot's Magical Girl Legacy
The anime is part of Studio Pierrot's 'Pierrot Magical Girl Series'. This classic franchise ran from 1983 to 1988 and includes five titles.
