Corrections
Courseason is committed to providing accurate reference information. When an error is identified in our content, our policy is to correct it transparently rather than to delete the record. A substantively corrected article will always carry a note at its foot stating the date on which the correction was made. This ensures readers can see the historical accuracy of the information presented.
A substantive correction is one that alters a verifiable fact central to the article’s subject, such as a broadcast date, a studio affiliation, a season’s episode count, or a key creative role. Minor typographical errors, formatting issues, or stylistic tweaks that do not change factual meaning are updated without a published correction note.
Readers who wish to report an error should contact us specifying the full article address and quoting the exact claim they believe to be incorrect. Providing this precise detail allows for efficient verification. We aim to investigate and, if required, publish a correction within two working days of a substantiated report being received.
For reference pages, facts are also corrected when the world changes, not only when an initial error is found. For instance, if a series is officially moved to a new broadcast season, a studio is renamed, or a film’s distribution rights change hands, these updates are made to the relevant Courseason pages. Such amendments, being factual updates to reflect new reality, are treated as substantive corrections and are noted accordingly at the foot of the article.
