The editorial policy of Courseason defines what the site will and will not publish. The subject is the cour, the twelve-week broadcast season that structures the medium. Content is strictly limited to this framework and its direct components: seasons, series, studios, source material, industry news, events, and the people, movies, and publishers involved. It will not publish content related to betting, nor will it feature invented quotes. It does not offer health, legal, or financial advice presented as instruction. It will not report on the private lives of individuals.

The site separates reporting from reference material. The News section contains timely articles on industry developments, while the core sections such as Seasons, Series, and Studios contain permanent, fact-checked reference pages. These reference pages are built to be neutral and comprehensive archives, updated as new information becomes officially confirmed. All claims, especially those pertaining to broadcast dates, production credits, or source material, must be verifiable through primary sources such as official studio announcements or distributor materials.

When a claim cannot be verified, it is not published. If a widely circulated rumour is relevant to a news article, it may be reported as an unverified claim attributed to its public source, clearly labelled as such, but it is never included in a permanent reference page. All images are real photographs or official promotional artwork. A photograph will carry its credit where one exists. Courseason will never use a picture of a real person's face generated by software.
