The Attack on Titan franchise marked its first officially recognized anniversary day on September 9 with a deluge of 99 global announcements. The date, registered with the Japan Anniversary Association, commemorates the serialization debut of Hajime Isayama's original manga on September 9, 2009, and references the series' Nine Titans.
A new celebratory illustration drawn by Hajime Isayama himself was unveiled for the occasion. The franchise also released a separate commemorative key visual that assembles all Nine Titans, alongside a special logo inspired by the Doomsday Titan.
Digital Launches and Manga Access
The franchise launched its official Attack on Titan YouTube channel. It will host limited-time anime streams and exclusive videos. An anniversary livestream is scheduled for September 9 on the new platform.
For manga readers, the first 99 chapters of Attack on Titan will be freely accessible on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app for a 99-hour period starting September 9 at 00:00 JST. New commemorative merchandise featuring the anniversary visuals and an original Isayama drawing of characters in formal wear is also going on sale via the Shonen Magazine Shop.
Theatrical and Game Releases

In gaming, Koei Tecmo's upcoming Attack on Titan 3 received a new opening animation key visual produced by MAPPA. The game's release date is set for December 10.

The remaining announcements encompass a wide array of international merchandise, events, and collaborations. These include new projects with brands like Sanrio Characters, esports organization Team Liquid, tech company MSI, and entertainment chain ROUND1.
