The trailer and visual focus on Oarai Girls' High School's Miho Nishizumi and former student council members preparing for a final clash. Their opponents are St. Gloriana Girls' College, a team that includes the character Alice. The key visual's tagline reads, "One more victory to go ...."
This installment is set after Oarai's win in the semi-finals of the Winter Continuous Track Cup. They now advance to face St. Gloriana in the finals. Darjeeling leads St. Gloriana. Alice transferred to that school specifically for another chance to battle Miho.
The October 9 release will be shown in Dolby Cinema, Dolby Atmos, 4DX, and MX4D formats, alongside standard screenings. According to the source, this marks the first time the das Finale film series will play in Dolby Cinema.

Separate from the main das Finale story, four Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! films were released. They opened on December 26, January 30, March 6, and April 10 of an unspecified year. These films are based on a manga by Maruko Nii that launched in 2013 in Monthly Comic Alive. The manga follows the daily lives of the Oarai team and other students.
