Yoshitaka Amano Reveals New One Piece Cards

Yoshitaka Amano has illustrated new artwork for Loki and Figarland Shamrock cards in the ONE PIECE CARD GAME. These cards were revealed during the ONE PIECE DAY '26 event and will debut in November 2026.

Yoshitaka Amano, the artist most renowned for the Final Fantasy series, has created new artwork for Loki and Figarland Shamrock in the ONE PIECE CARD GAME. These cards were unveiled during the ONE PIECE DAY '26 event, which also saw the announcement of two new anime films.

The two cards provided by Amano feature original illustrations specifically for the trading card game. The Figarland Shamrock card depicts the Holy Knight of God alongside his sword, Cerberus. This character card possesses a power level of 9000.

Additionally, Amano illustrated Loki, the Cursed Prince of Elbaf, who carries a power value of 8000. Both cards are slated for inclusion in Booster Pack Vol. 18, which will be released in Japan in November 2026.

New Card Reveals and Collaborations

The Amano illustrations were part of a broader announcement for the card game. Booster Pack Vol. 18 also featured a new promotional video and revealed cards for Franky, Nico Robin, and Gunko. Gunko is set to make her Leader card debut in this set. One version of the Gunko card is illustrated by ONE PIECE animator Takeshi Maenami.

In separate news, the Extra Booster titled "Heroines Edition Vol. 2" scheduled for October received new reveals for Nami and Nico Robin. These Heroine Special Cards will feature art by Takashi Kojima, who is the character designer for the ONE PIECE HEROINES anime.

Franchise History and Upcoming

Projects nThe ONE PIECE CARD GAME launched in 2022. It utilizes art from Eiichiro Oda's manga, the television anime, and exclusive original illustrations. The game has gained attention for collaborating with external manga artists and illust.

Past guest contributors include Gege Akutami, creator of JujJSU KAISEN, who drew the Five Elders for OP-13, and Keisuke Itagaki, creator of Baki, who provided an illustration of Kaido for OP-17.

Beyond the card game, several projects are on horizon. A LEGO special animation project with two episodes premieres on September 29. The live-action series will return its third season in 2027.

Furthermore, a remake anime by WIT Studio is expected to premiere in February 2027. A new game titled ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet launches on October 23, 2026. Regarding films, ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY is scheduled for Summer 2027, followed by ONE PIECE FILM BAAD in 2029.
