Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 Part 2 is scheduled to premiere on October 11 at 5:00 p.m. JST. The new cour will air on MBS, TBS, and 26 other affiliated channels, with subsequent broadcasts on BS Nippon Television and AT-X beginning October 21.
The anime continues the story of the super-powered Yozakura family. The second part of this season follows the first cour, which aired in the spring of 2026. The series is also known by its original Japanese title, 'Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen'.
Production team
Mirai Minato returns as chief director and series composer for the second cour, overseeing the scripts. Takahiro Nakatsugawa, who worked as a storyboard artist and episode director on the first season, is back as the animation director. Mizuki Takahashi is the returning character designer. Composer Kōji Fujimoto also returns to score the series.
The opening theme song for the new cour is 'Forever Song' performed by Humbreaders. The ending theme is 'I'm Still Breathing' by KID PHENOMENON.
Voice cast
A promotional video revealed five new characters joining the cast for the upcoming episodes. The new voice actors include Houchuu Ootsuka as Alexandre, Miku Itou as Shura, and Yumiri Hanamori as the Cyber Demon King 'G'. Naomi Shindou will voice Koro. The character Kosmos Akizakura was also revealed, though a voice actor has not yet been announced.
Sumire Uesaka returns to voice Dr. Mozu. A fan reacted to the cast reveal online, stating, "Two of my favourite voice artists are here!"
Broadcast and streaming
The series will continue to be available for streaming internationally. Hulu streams the new season with subtitles and an English dub in the United States. Disney+ carries the series worldwide. In Japan, the anime is available on Prime Video and Netflix.
Manga conclusion
The anime is an adaptation of the manga by Hitsuji Gondaira. The manga launched in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2019 and concluded its serialization in January 2025. Shueisha published the 29th and final compiled volume in March 2025. The series has a cumulative 3.6 million copies in circulation.
VIZ Media has handled the English release, simulpublishing chapters digitally on the Manga Plus app and website since the manga's Japanese debut. The company began digital volume releases in December 2020 and started physical releases with the first volume in October 2022. VIZ Media shipped the 24th volume on August 18, with the 25th volume planned for an October 20 release.
