All's Justice Adds Izuku Midoriya DLC

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Wednesday that its fighting game My Hero Academia: All's Justice will add Izuku Midoriya Overlay Full Style as a downloadable character on Thursday. The character is included in the game's season pass.

The company also released a launch trailer for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game. That version launches on Thursday (Wednesday in Japan). The Switch 2 release will introduce a new "Minigame" mode featuring a collaboration with Pac-Man and will support online battles via GameShare using GameChat.

This marks the third DLC character addition for the title. Star and Stripe was added as the first season pass character in February, followed by Nana Shimura on May 7.

Game Editions and Roster

The game is available in Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions. The Deluxe Edition includes the Season Pass of five DLC packs. The Ultimate Edition adds seven HUD banners and 20 costumes to that package.

The extensive playable roster includes numerous characters from the series. It features Izuku Midoriya in his Rising and One for All styles, All for One in Regular and Chaos forms, and Tomura Shigaraki with the All for One power. The list also includes major heroes and villains such as All Might, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, and Lady Nagant, among many others.

Game Features and Mechanics

The fighting game centers on the manga's final battle arc. It is the first console title to feature all the students from Class 1-A with their final powers and techniques. Game modes include Team Up Missions on a new map, an Archives Battle mode to replay fights from the series, and a Story Mode covering the final arc from both hero and villain perspectives. A Hero's Diary mode focuses on the various characters.

According to the company's description, the game mechanics involve 3v3 battles where the goal is to eliminate every member of the opposing team. A tag team system allows players to switch fighters to extend combos or counter attacks. Combat is built around four core actions: Target Combo, Counter Attack, Guard, and Unblockable Attack, with additional tactical options like Evade and Counter Crash. Players can build a Plus Ultra gauge to unleash a devastating Plus Ultra Combo finisher involving all three fighters. A special Rising! State enhances attack power, speed, and recovery when the gauge is filled, activating automatically for a sole remaining character.

Series Context

The original My Hero Academia manga by Kōhei Horikoshi ended its magazine serialization in August 2024. The manga's 42nd and final compiled book volume, released in December 2024, included 38 pages of new content. The anime adaptation premiered its final season in October 2025. A bonus anime episode titled "More," based on the manga's extra 431st chapter, aired on May 2.

The game launched worldwide on February 6 (February 5 in Japan) for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
