Youka Nitta Announces New Embracing Love

Manga creator Youka Nitta will publish new content for the Embracing Love series in Spring 2027. The announcement was made on the official X/Twitter accounts for Be x Boy magazine and Nitta themselves.

Nitta stated they do not know how much more they will draw for the series. They pledged to do their best "until they are dried out." The creator also thanked readers for their passionate requests and suggestions about drawing moments that take place during breaks in the main story.

Series Background and Previous Releases

The erotic boys-love manga Embracing Love originally ran from 1999 to 2009. It inspired two original anime (OAV) episodes, which were licensed by Media Blasters.

Nitta has released special chapters for the manga before. These started in Libre Publishing's Be-Boy Gold magazine in June 2020. A two-part spinoff manga titled Secret Chamber was published most recently. It ran in the magazine's August and October issues. The October issue shipped on a Friday.

An earlier side story titled Time Share was published in Be-Boy Gold's February 2013 issue.

Viz Media's SuBLime imprint publishes the original Embracing Love manga in North America in omnibus form. The publisher provides the following story description.

Iwaki Kyousuke and Katou Yoji are two hugely popular adult film stars looking for a way out of the industry. Their chance arrives when they're both invited to audition for a new erotic film. Imagine their surprise when the director decides the only way for him to choose who will get the coveted lead role is for them to perform one of the film's love scenes on the spot - with each other! Things get even crazier when Katou decides to take drastic measures to ensure he can continue seeing Iwaki after film production wraps. How will Iwaki respond to Katou's impulsive act?

Previous English publishers include Central Park Media, which released early volumes from 2005 to 2007. JManga released the manga digitally in English in 2011 before closing its doors in 2013.

Nitta's Other Work

Youka Nitta is also the creator of the Haru o Daiteta: Alive manga. That series launched in Be-Boy Gold in 2014 and ended in February 2020. Libre Publishing published the manga's sixth and final volume in June 2020.
