Sasaki to Pii-chan Season 2 Cast, Staff, and October
The second season of the Sasaki to Pii-chan anime reveals new cast members, staff, its opening theme, and a first promotional video.
The television anime Sasaki to Pii-chan has announced key details for its upcoming second season. The new season will premiere on October 7 at 10:00 p.m. On AT-X, followed by broadcasts on Tokyo MX and BS Nippon Television, with the first episode set as a one-hour special.
Two new voice actors are joining the cast. Tasuku Hatanaka will voice Himegami-kun, while Yuu Sasahara takes on the role of Eriel.
Production Staff and Music
The production studio SILVER LINK returns, with a change in the director's chair. Yuushi Ibe is directing the second season, assisted by Yamato Oouchi as assistant director. Series composition is handled by Deko Akao, and character designs are by Saori Nakashiki.
Music composition duties are shared by Kouji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki, with Kadokawa credited for music production. The opening theme song, titled "Unbroken," will be performed by the music group MADKID. A preview of the song is featured in the season's first promotional video.
Source Material and Previous Season
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Buncololi. The author began publishing the story on the Kakuyomu website in December 2018. Kadokawa later began printing the novels under its MF Bunko J label in January 2021, with illustrations by Kantoku. The 13th volume was released on March 25 of this year.
The first season of the anime, produced by SILVER LINK, aired for 12 episodes during the Winter 2024 broadcast season. It was simulcast by Crunchyroll with subtitles, and an English dub was streamed later.
Manga and English Licenses
A manga adaptation by Oshou Pureji began serialization in Shounen Ace Plus in January 2021. Kadokawa published the sixth manga volume on June 26.
For English-speaking audiences, Yen Press holds the license for both the light novel and manga. The publisher released the tenth light novel volume on August 11. The fourth manga volume went on sale in December 2025, with the fifth volume scheduled for release on October 27.
