Keroro Gunsou Anime Reveals Cast, Staff, October Premiere
The new Keroro Gunsou TV anime has announced its main cast, staff, and first promotional video, with a premiere set for October 3 on TV Tokyo.
A new television anime adaptation of Mine Yoshizaki's Keroro Gunsou manga has revealed its main cast, production staff, and first promotional video. According to the series' official website, the anime is scheduled to premiere on October 3 at 9:30 a.m. On TV Tokyo.
The announcement, made on Monday, also included a new key visual. The source report from Oricon News details a completely new voice cast for the main platoon of alien frogs, a notable departure from previous adaptations.
Main Cast and Staff
The five main characters will be voiced by a new generation of actors. Makoto Koichi, known for Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!, will voice Sergeant Keroro Gunso. Rika Nagae (PriPri Chii-chan!!) is cast as Private Tamama Nitobei. Toshiki Masuda from Boku no Hero Academia will play Corporal Giroro Gocho.
Kousuke Echigoya (Poketoon (2024)) takes the role of Sergeant Major Kururu Socho. Finally, Satoshi Inomata (Koori no Jouheki) will voice Lieutenant Dororo Heicho.
Nobuhiro Kondou, who directed the original Keroro Gunsou anime, returns as chief director for this new series. Toshihiko Sano (Farmagia) is the director. Series composition is handled by Toshimitsu Takeuchi (Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to), and character design is by Hatsue Nakayama (Fairy Tail: Final Series guest character design).
Production Details
The production involves multiple studios. Bandai Namco Pictures is listed as the main studio, with Bridge and Aisle credited as co-studios. Other key staff members include color designer Keiichi Funada, art directors Kenichi Tajiri and Shintarou Inoue, and music composer Kan Sawada.

Series Background
Mine Yoshizaki's original manga began serialization in Shounen Ace in November 1999. Kadokawa published the 35th volume in December 2025. The manga was licensed for English digital release by VIZ Media under its VIZ Select imprint in December 2014.
The franchise's first major anime adaptation was produced by Sunrise. It aired 358 episodes from Spring 2004 to Spring 2011. A short television anime series premiered in Spring 2014. The property also spawned a series of six theatrical films, with the first premiering in March 2006 and the sixth releasing on June 26 of an unspecified year. The new TV series represents a fresh adaptation for the Fall 2026 cour.
