Cheat Fuyo Anime Announces Cast, Theme Song, and October 7
The anime adaptation of 'Cheat Fuyo' reveals new cast members, its opening theme by sumika, and a first promotional video.
The television anime for 'Tsuihou sareta Cheat Fuyo Majutsushi wa Kimama na Second Life wo Ouka suru' has announced additional cast, its opening theme, and released its first promotional video. The series is scheduled to premiere on October 7 at 12:00 a.m. JST on TV Tokyo and AT-X.
Three new voice actors were confirmed for the fantasy adventure. Takumi Yamazaki, known for 'Tamako Market,' will voice Donguri. Taiten Kusunoki from 'Tennis no Oujisama' will play Valios. Megumi Toyoguchi, whose credits include 'Danganronpa,' is cast as Glenda.
Opening Theme and Production Staff
Rock band sumika will perform the opening theme song titled "Ember Torch." A preview of the track is featured in the newly released first promotional video. The anime is being directed by Shuu Honma at studio P.A. Works. Series composition is handled by Youko Yonaiyama, with character designs by Yuito Kiyosawa. Music composition is credited to Alisa Okehazama.
Source Material History
The story originated as a web novel by Asa Rokushima on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2021. A manga adaptation illustrated by Youmochi Gyoumu began serialization in Shounen Magazine R in October 2021. Following that magazine's discontinuation, the manga moved to the Getsumaga Kichi web portal in March 2023. Kodansha published the 21st manga volume on August 7.
A light novel adaptation, featuring illustrations by kisui, began publication under Kodansha's K Ranobe Book label in January 2022. Its second volume was released in October 2022.
