I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand Anime Casts Rina Honnizumi

The anime adaptation of the light novel series 'I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand' has announced its cast, including Rina Honnizumi as Philly, the fifth daughter of the Mastafon noble family.

The series follows the story of Luck, who makes the choice to hold the line against the unending demonic hordes alone, to make sure his comrades can escape with their lives. However, through a combination of fortune, skill, and ingenuity, he holds that line for ten straight years, eventually coming out on top single-handedly.

The anime stars Gakuto Kajiwara as Luck, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Erik, Tsuyoshi Koyama as Golan, Yui Ishikawa as Celliss Morton, Mayu Sagara as Sia Wolcott, M.A.O as Luccira, Yurie Kozakai as Milca, Wakana Maruoka as Arone, Yuuki Terui as Ario, Akari Miyazaki as Ginny, Miharu Hanai as Charlotte, and Suzuna Kinoshita as Mary.

The anime also features a star-studded cast of voice actors, including Nobuhiko Okamoto, Kōsuke Toriumi, Takehito Koyasu, Shinya Takahashi, and Satoshi Hino, who will voice the vampires who hold the key to the story.

The anime is directed by Hiroyuki Kanbe, who is known for his work on 'Viper's Creed'. Mitsutaka Hirota is handling the series scripts, and Majiro is designing the characters. The anime's opening theme song is performed by sajou no hana, and the ending theme song is performed by Rock-idol girl group MEISHOHIKOKAI.

The anime premiered first on Amazon Prime Video on July 3, before debuting on the ABEMA and d Anime Store streaming services on July 6, as well as making its television debut on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS11 on July 6. The anime debuted on AT-X on July 9.

The anime is available to stream on Crunchyroll as it airs in Japan.

## Production Details

The light novel series' first volume debuted in February 2019, and the eighth volume will ship on July 15. The novel and manga series combined has over 4.45 million copies in circulation.
